Djokovic won five matches at the ATP Finals, only dropping serve twice, and his coach says
his serve hasn’t been appreciated enough.
Novak Djokovic’s coach Goran Ivanisevic has been speaking about the 21-time Slam
winner’s serve.
Ivanisevic himself was known for his serving prowess and now the 2001 Wimbledon
winner has said Djokovic’s serve has been “underrated” all his entire.
Ivanisevic highlighted how Novak’s serve had saved him in “many matches” in the past “5
or 10 years.”
The 51-year-old also said that Djokovic’s serve is “especially” prominent in “tense, key
moments.”
Djokovic has just won the ATP Tour Finals in Turin where he only lost his serve three times
in the entire tournament.
Djokovic and his coach will be hoping that his serve is equally strong as he looks to win his
tenth Australian Open title next month.
